Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to self-generate leads and present solar products in customers' homes. You will develop local sales strategies, conduct in-home presentations, and manage each opportunity through installation, ensuring a strong customer experience.

Responsibilities include handling the sales pipeline, following up on leads, reporting results via CRM, and meeting sales targets while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package and ambitious incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs.
• Willingness to spend time traveling within local market as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our CRM tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
