WelbeHealth is seeking Home Care Assistants to deliver safe in-home personal care as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will visit 2-5 participants per day, work an 8-hour day with scheduled shifts, and participate in care planning under the Home Care Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Current BLS/First Aid Certification required.
• CNA or HHA certification preferred.
• Must be registered with Home Care Registry (HCA) prior to start date.
• 1+ years caregiving experience highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in participants' homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe transfers.
• Assist with Instrumental ADLs such as laundry, light housekeeping, shopping, and meal preparation.
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed.
• Act as a medical escort in vehicles to appointments, supporting safe transfers.
• Support Rehabilitation team by implementing home exercise programs per care plan after training.
• Provide translation services as needed.

Connaissances

1+ years caregiving experience

BLS/First Aid Certification

CNA/HHA certification/registry

Formation
