Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join as in-home care contractors. You will provide holistic nursing care directly in patients' homes, building relationships and delivering support beyond medical needs.

This 1099 Independent Contractor role offers flexible hours (8 hours a month / 2 hours weekly) and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in energy workers’ lives through personalized care.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of practice.
Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
Professional liability is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments and provide personalized, comprehensive home care.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Assist with ADLs with dignity and respect.
Coordinate scheduling with patients according to their plan of care and preferences.
Monitor patient symptoms and report changes promptly to the team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure unified care.
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR.
