Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks dedicated Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors providing in-home care to energy workers. The role focuses on compassionate, holistic nursing in patients' homes, with autonomy and flexible scheduling.

You will perform assessments, educate families, assist with ADLs, and coordinate with case managers and physicians to ensure consistent, quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes for care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Able to pass state and federal background checks.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough home health assessments and provide personalized care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with ADLs and provide compassionate support.
• Coordinate schedules with patients and care plans.
• Monitor changes in patient status and communicate with physicians and case managers.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document care accurately in the EMR system.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
