Job summary
United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering compassionate, holistic in-home care to energy workers in Florida. As an In-Home Health Care RN, you will perform assessments, educate families, assist with ADLs, coordinate with care plans, document in our EMR, and administer medications as
Qualifications
- RN license active in the state of practice.
- Willingness to travel and provide home visits.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
- Professional liability insurance is required.
- Strong problem-solving and empathetic patient care approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough home health assessments and document care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed with dignity.
- Coordinate with care plans, schedules, and clinicians for consistency.
- Monitor patient status and report changes promptly; document in EMR.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
