Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering in-home care to energy workers with compassion and expertise.

As an In-Home Health Care RN, you will conduct thorough assessments, provide ADL support, educate families, administer medications, and coordinate care with case managers and physicians, all while maintaining heartfelt patient documentation and a flexible schedule tailored to each patient’s plan of care.

Qualifications

• Valid and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel, bringing care to patients' homes.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Professional liability is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and deliver personalized in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients and align with the care plan and physician instructions.
• Monitor symptoms and promptly report changes as needed to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Communicate effectively with Case Managers and collaborating physicians.Maintain accurate and heartfelt patient documentation in the EMR.
• Offer emotional support to patients and family members.
