Job summary

PARS Therapy in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients on their recovery journey. The PTA will deliver in-home therapy under a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients regain mobility and independence.

The role emphasizes collaborative care, evidence-based treatments, and patient education to improve movement and quality of life. Prior home health experience is preferred and professional liability insurance is required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce dependence on medications.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans and treatment techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
