PARS Therapy in League City, TX seeks a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in their recovery journey. Deliver care under supervision, develop goals, and promote independence in the home setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, implement individualized plans, and educate patients with professionalism and empathy to improve movement, strength, and balance.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Adapt care approaches to various patient needs.
• Maintain current knowledge of treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Educate and engage patients with professionalism and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional and mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments that promote movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce reliance on medications through therapy.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation and recovery.
• Document all services provided and maintain timely patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
