PARS Therapy in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients on their recovery journey. You will help restore mobility and independence through personalized care in the home setting, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The role emphasizes collaboration, evidence-based treatments, and improving overall quality of life for clients in a supportive home health team.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to patient needs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver home-based physical therapy under licensed PT supervision.
• Identify patient goals and implement mobility interventions.
• Create individualized care plans and document progress.
• Educate and motivate patients in rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and report outcomes to the supervising therapist.
• Promote movement, balance, strength and independence.
