Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You seeks a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide mobile outpatient therapy in the Dracut, MA area. The PA will assist a licensed PT in delivering home-based rehab services to older adults in private homes or living facilities.

The position offers a flexible schedule, travel to patient residences, and opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, and visa sponsorship options.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of physical therapy under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Adheres to department schedules and completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Works with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs and activities.
• Assists Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Operates and maintains equipment safely and reports repairs as needed.
• Provides patient-centered care focused on improving functional independence.
• Delivers individualized treatment plans including exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and wellness education.
• Performs other related duties as required.
