Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a Local Contract Physical Therapy Assistant for outpatient rehabilitation in the older adult population. The PTA will evaluate and treat in the most functional environment, including patients' homes or rooms in independent living facilities, under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

This assignment offers a fixed schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours weekly, starting 09/21/2026 for about 12 weeks, with a flexible, home-based setting across various

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements.
• Works with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs and activities for each patient.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in skills and techniques of the physical therapy program under supervision.
• Maintains appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
