Job summary

TalentBurst is recruiting a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for older adults in Franconia, NH. Work is onsite with a fixed schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 5 days a week, 40 hours guaranteed, and a 13-week assignment starting 10/19/2026.

You will support supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and functional training, and educate patients and families while

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.
• Works with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs and activities for each patient.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when the Physical Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under supervision.
• Maintains appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment.
• Implements patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Physical Therapist.
