Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an in-home outpatient rehab assignment in Laureldale, PA. The role involves evaluating and treating older adults in patient homes or in facilities, under a licensed Physical Therapist, with a flexible schedule across settings.

The PTA will perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training, while maintaining documentation and coordinating with the rehab team. A valid PTA license and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and required meetings.
• Adheres to treatment schedule and documentation requirements.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement patient programs.
• Assists Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations and complex procedures.
• Educates patients and caregivers in treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients.
• Cleans and reports equipment maintenance needs.
• Delivers individualized PT treatments and plans as prescribed.
