Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in home-based settings for older adults. You will evaluate and treat patients in their homes or in independent living facilities, working under a supervising Physical Therapist.

The role offers a flexible schedule and diverse settings. Responsibilities include documenting care, coordinating with the rehabilitation team, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PTA license in the applicable state(s).
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation in-home settings under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Evaluate and treat patients to improve independence and function in their home or community setting.
• Maintain timely documentation aligned with clinical and billing requirements.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report needs for repairs.
