Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for full-time mobile outpatient therapy in Clinton, CT. The role focuses on in-home patient assessment, treatment, and education with a strong emphasis on independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s in a PT-related field with Bachelor’s in PT; or Bachelor’s in PT plus 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in in-home settings for older adults.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized PT plans to promote independence.
• Supervise PTAs, licensees, students, and support personnel as required by state rules.
• Document promptly and accurately per department guidelines and billing requirements.
• Promote safety, transport, and home-based mobility for patients and caregivers.
