Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide in‑home outpatient therapy in the Chicopee area, serving older adults in private residences or living facilities. The role supports a flexible 4-5 day schedule across MA locations, with a $10,000 bonus and opportunities for mentorship and CEUs.

Posted salary range is $80,000–$110,000 per year. The ideal candidate holds a PT degree, license or eligibility, and brings strong clinical skills in functional therapy and home health

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• They must have a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
• They must have a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
• They must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
• The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for older adults.
• Evaluate, develop and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation in the patient’s home or living facility.
• Identify the need for referrals to other disciplines and collaborate with the rehab team.
• Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers to promote independence and safety.
• Adhere to schedule, ensure timely documentation and participate in related meetings.
• Supervise PT Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as needed.
• Order supplies and equipment and maintain/repair as necessary.
• Promote a safe environment and address health and wellness goals.
