Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Frisco, TX is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across the Dallas area. This role offers professional autonomy, meaningful family-centered care, and the chance to practice end-of-life medicine in the home.

You will travel to clients' homes, provide hospice and palliative services, and support families with compassionate euthanasia decisions. Enjoy flexible scheduling, a doctor-led team, and a commitment to compassionate care.

Formación

• DVM, VMD, BVMS, or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in the state(s) where services will be provided.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments.
• Independent mobile veterinarian with support from Heartstrings team.
• Empathetic, professional communication during hospice/end-of-life conversations.
• Availability for rotational weekend scheduling.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted; assist with up to 100 pounds as needed.
• Background and motor vehicle record checks completed after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and euthanasia services.
• Travel to scheduled appointments in a mobile veterinary care environment.
• Perform physical exams, assessments, medications, sedation, euthanasia as appropriate.
• Educate families on quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life options.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each encounter.
• Collaborate with Heartstrings team and referring veterinarians.
• Safely handle and assist with movement of companion animals in homes.
• Demonstrate professionalism and independent clinical judgment in the field.
