Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families throughout Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen & Prosper, Texas. This role offers professional autonomy, meaningful family-centered care, and the opportunity to practice medicine outside a traditional clinic.

You will provide in-home hospice and end-of-life services, with a focus on compassionate decision-making and privacy for pets and their families.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Hold or be eligible for an active veterinary license in the relevant state(s).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel between appointments.

Aufgaben

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services.
• Travel to scheduled appointments independently in a mobile veterinary care environment.
• Perform physical examinations, clinical assessments, medication administration, sedation, euthanasia, and related services.
• Educate families on quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life options with empathy.
