Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Access Personal Care Services is seeking a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support, assisting with daily living activities to help clients stay in their own homes.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, denture care, transfer assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders, with night shifts available in some regions.

Qualifications

• Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Access to a dependable vehicle or reliable public transportation.
• 6+ months of home care experience; CPR preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, denture care, nails, skin care, transfer support, and personal care.
• Provide or assist with transfers and mobility using cane, walker, or crutches.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment and operate equipment.
• Accompany clients to appointments and run essential errands; medication reminders.
