Job summary

Avid Health at Home is hiring Personal Care Aides (PCA) to support clients in Fayette County and surrounding areas with ADL/IADL tasks and non-clinical care. The role operates under the Care Manager's supervision and follows a physician's order within each client's plan of care.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, transfers, meal support, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance as needed. We value compassionate, HIPAA-compliant care and offer flexible schedules and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification: Board or Specific State of License.
• Current PCA certification.
• CPR preferred and may be required for some clients.
• Be in compliance with all existing regulations and company policies.
• Bi-lingual – English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implements and provides day-to-day ADL and IADL support to clients within their home as ordered by the physician’s plan of treatment and client’s plan of care.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care according to the care plan.
• Assist with personal care including baths, grooming, toileting, transfers, and ambulation.
• Assist with therapy exercises under the direction of a Registered Therapist.
• Maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment and assist with meals and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments when needed.
• Document shift details and services accurately within established time parameters.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain client confidentiality.
