Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center in Menifee, CA seeks dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide individualized behavioral support to children with autism and developmental disabilities in clients' homes. Paid training and ongoing clinical guidance help you grow your skills in a collaborative, family-centered environment.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children, implement plans created by a BCBA, and help develop communication, social, and daily living skills while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus but not required.
• Able to commit to at least 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability 1:00 PM–8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles for client sessions.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies.
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress.
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers.
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings.
