Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in patients' homes and in independent living settings. The role focuses on functional, patient-centered care across diverse home environments.

You will implement OT programs under supervision, document progress, and educate patients and caregivers to support greater independence. A valid state license and driver's license are required, with a flexible schedule across settings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and staffing conferences as a representative of occupational therapy.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules with timely documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to develop patient programs.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, and reports equipment repairs as needed.
• Puts patient service first, delivering high-quality care with compassion.
• Implements individualized treatment plans established by the primary OT.
• Provides OT interventions across cognitive, motor, balance, ADLs, and safety areas.
• Performs other related duties as required.
