Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient rehab services in patients' homes or independent living facilities. You’ll deliver therapy programs under supervision, promote independence, and support families.

The role offers a flexible schedule and varied settings to help older adults and their families regain function and quality of life. You will collaborate with occupational therapists and the rehab team, document progress, and maintain equipment

Competenze

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient residence.

Mansioni

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of occupational therapy.
• Adheres to treatment schedules and completes clinical and billing documentation.
• Works with rehabilitation team to develop patient-specific programs.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in therapy techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs as needed.
• Implements patient treatment plans and provides interventions across domains.
• Provides a range of occupational therapy interventions (e.g., mobility, ADLs, balance, health and wellness).
• Performs other related duties as required.
