Job summary

Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver outpatient rehabilitation in patients\' homes or independent living facilities with flexible scheduling. You will implement therapy programs under an Occupational Therapist, aiming to increase independence and functioning for older adults.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, functional environment adaptation, and collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team across home and facility settings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to patient care and team meetings.
• Maintain adherence to schedule, and complete timely documentation.
• Collaborate with rehab team to tailor programs to patient needs.
• Instruct patients and families in therapy techniques under supervision.
• Maintain equipment and report needs for repair and upkeep.
• Prioritize patient service with compassionate care.
• Implement individualized treatment plans by the supervising therapist.
• Provide OT interventions across cognitive, motor, balance, and ADL domains.
