Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home outpatient services for older adults, either in private homes or in independent living facilities. The role emphasizes functional assessment, individualized treatment plans, and collaboration with the rehab team to restore independence.

Responsibilities include supervising OT assistants as required, ensuring timely documentation and scheduling, and promoting a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Initial registration from NBCOT.
• Valid state OT license.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to the patient’s residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient in-home occupational therapy for older adults.
• Supervise OT assistants and students as applicable.
• Maintain timely documentation and scheduling.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to plan and adjust care.
• Evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans.
• Ensure safety and proper equipment use.
