Job summary

Anuco Home Health Care LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home occupational therapy services under licensed OT supervision. The role emphasizes strong communication, time management, and safety as you support patients in daily tasks and mobility within Chicago and surrounding communities.

Applicants should have home health experience or willingness to travel, plus Axxess EMR proficiency and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Illinois OTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Current NBCOT certification as a COTA, when applicable.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatments delegated and supervised by an OT.
• Follow physician orders and the plan of care.
• Assist with ADL/IADL retraining and home-safety education.
• Educate patients and caregivers on program execution.
• Document treatment response and progress toward goals.
• Coordinate therapy services with the OT and interdisciplinary team.
• Report safety concerns, changes in condition, and unmet needs.
