Job summary

Abundant Home Health, LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home-based occupational therapy services. You will work under an OT supervisor to implement treatment plans aimed at improving daily living activities and independence for patients of all ages.

You will monitor progress, document visits, educate families on safety and adaptive equipment, and coordinate with a broader care team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current Texas COTA license and a valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification and ability to follow treatment plans under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services to patients of all ages in home health under OT supervision.
• Implement treatment plans to improve ADLs and independence.
• Monitor progress, document visits, and report changes to supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and adaptive equipment.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Travel locally to patient homes and maintain flexible scheduling.
