CareRing Health in Falls Church, VA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home OT services in accordance with regulatory guidelines and licensure requirements.

The OT will assess clients, develop plans of care, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to improve function and independence in daily activities. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Occupational Therapy License in Virginia.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and has graduated from an OT curriculum jointly accredited by the AMA Committee and the American Occupational Therapy Association, or eligibility for the national Registration Examination.
• Must have one-year clinical experience; home health experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess clients using age-appropriate norms and growth principles.
• Formulate plans of care in collaboration with client and supervisor and with physician approval.
• Provide education to client/caregiver to enhance self-care abilities.
• Deliver occupational therapy services in the home as prescribed by a physician and evaluate client function.
