Job summary

Mercy is seeking an occupational therapist to provide in-home services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders, under physician direction in Missouri. Requires graduation from an accredited OT program, current state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Strong assessment, documentation, and scheduling skills are essential. Preferred candidates will have excellent communication, time management, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license and CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health, or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Independently schedule patient visits and maintain an efficient daily schedule.
• Coordinate with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff, and patients while handling confidential information.
• Provide in-home occupational therapy assessments, treatment planning, and interventions.
• Respond to emergencies and adapt to changing conditions with initiative and problem-solving.
• Drive to patient locations and follow maps and driving policies as needed.
