Job summary

Mercy is seeking an occupational therapist to provide in-home services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician direction.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, current state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care settings. Preferred: two years in acute/home care; strong assessment, planning, communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license. Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Independently schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner; checking in with office daily to update schedule.
• Regularly interact with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
