Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home services under physician oversight. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and document progress while coordinating visits with office and hospital staff.

A valid state license and CPR are required; two years in acute or home care is preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The role emphasizes independent scheduling, patient safety, and adaptability to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state OT license and CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services under physician direction.
• Assess, plan and deliver treatment; communicate and document progress.
• Schedule patient visits, coordinate with agency staff and physicians; handle emergencies as needed.
