Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual disorders, under physician direction. The role requires a graduate of an accredited OT program, a current state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of relevant experience.

You will schedule visits, complete documentation, and coordinate with care teams. Two-year experience in acute or home care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license. Valid driver's license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long term care setting required.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently schedule patient visits in timely and efficient manner; check in with office daily to update schedule.
• Provide in-home occupational therapy assessments and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, agency staff and hospital staff as needed.
• Maintain confidential information and thorough documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and adapt to changing schedules and patient needs.
