Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home therapy to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician direction.

Education must be an accredited OT program with current state licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state OT licensure.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services under physician direction.
• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
• Maintain accurate documentation and scheduling for patient visits.
• Meet physical requirements (lift up to 50 pounds) and adapt to changes as needed.
