Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks a qualified Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home therapy for patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician supervision.

The role requires state licensure, a current driver’s license, CPR certification and at least one year of relevant experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care. You will assess, plan, document, schedule visits, and collaborate with medical teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license and valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician direction.
• Independently schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner and coordinate with office daily.
• Maintain good assessment, treatment planning, documentation and communication with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
