Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults, delivering care in private residences or independent living facilities in Florida. You’ll assess, plan, and implement therapeutic activities tailored to each patient’s goals.

You will supervise assistants as needed, maintain timely documentation, collaborate with the rehab team, and promote safe, functional recovery across diverse home settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial NBCOT registration or eligibility.
• Valid occupational therapy license as required in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home outpatient occupational therapy for older adults.
• Evaluate and develop individualized therapy plans to restore independence.
• Supervise OT assistants and support personnel as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to coordinate patient care.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy ACOTE standards

Initial registration with NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
