Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home, outpatient rehabilitation services for older adults. The role spans independent living sites and private homes, enabling therapy in the patient’s own environment.

You will supervise OT staff as needed, ensure timely documentation, collaborate with the rehab team, and adapt plans to patient needs while maintaining safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited OT curriculum.
• NBCOT registration is required to practice as an OT.
• Must hold a valid and unencumbered OT license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in-home for older adults.
• Supervise OT Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as required.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, and complete clinical and billing documentation.
• Attend patient care and staffing conferences and related meetings.
• Refer to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens.
• Adapt plan of care according to patient needs.
• Promote a safe environment and eliminate hazards.
• Order supplies and equipment; maintain and repair as needed.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient service.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Valid OT license (state practice)
