Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and outpatient rehabilitation for older adults. You will evaluate and treat patients where they live or in nearby facilities, designing and adjusting plans to maximize independence and function.

You will supervise staff, manage scheduling and documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet care goals. A flexible schedule across diverse settings is available.

Qualifications

ACOTE-accredited OT degree.
Initial NBCOT certification.
Valid OT license as required in state.
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient OT services in home or facility settings.
Supervise OT Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff as needed.
Maintain patient treatment schedules and complete clinical and billing documentation.
Collaborate with rehabilitation team and physicians to tailor treatment plans.
Adapt plans based on patient progress and needs.
Promote safe environment and maintain equipment.
Fabricate/adapt assistive devices and train patients in use.
Assess and document patient progress, and plan discharge goals.

Bachelor's in OT (ACOTE)

NBCOT registration
