Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy in patients’ homes or living facilities, coordinating with the rehab team to achieve functional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Initial NBCOT registration.
• Valid OT license in practice state.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in the in-home setting.
• Supervise assistants and students per licensure.
• Maintain scheduling, documentation, and meetings.
• Collaborate with rehab team and physician for optimal plan of care.
• Adapt treatment plans to patient needs and environment.
• Promote safety and order supplies as needed.
• Deliver patient-centered therapy across activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and coordination.
