Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. in Tobyhanna is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan and administer OT programs to restore function and promote independence.

You will develop and update a care plan in collaboration with patients and families, and contribute to improving quality of life through therapeutic exercise and education. The role emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning in synthesizing data.
• Must be able to communicate with patients, family, and co-workers.
• Must be able to provide safe, compassionate, and competent occupational therapy treatments.
• Ability to travel to Home Care assignments.
• PA Licensure upon hire and AHA BLS.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and implements occupational therapy plans of care to restore function and maximize performance.
• Implements individualized treatment plans using therapy techniques and functional mobility training.
• Provides OT treatment aligned with patient needs and evaluations.
• Performs reassessment and adjusts plans accordingly.
• Communicates progress to supervisor, physician and team.
• Delivers cost effective care per billing guidelines.
• Completes documentation per policies.
