Job summary

MarketSource, a sales acceleration company, is seeking a Lead Generator to proactively engage consumers at big-box retail locations, educate them on the client’s offerings, and qualify prospects for in-home consultations. The role blends an outgoing personality with the ability to quickly identify homeowners and schedule free in-home meetings with the client’s sales team.

• Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision (Self-starter).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of business systems, business processes, and client expectations.
• Proactive, self-motivated, entrepreneurial attitude.
• Working knowledge with the Internet and web based data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engages and educates consumers on the benefits of purchasing the products and services of the client
• Qualifies the consumer to determine if they are the right profile for purchasing the products and services of the client
• Performs demonstrations of the client’s products to allow the consumer to fully understand the benefits of the products
• Convinces the consumer to schedule a “Free” in-home consultation with the client’s sales team
• Collects and enters appropriate consumer and competitive data required by the client into a MarketSource work order system
