La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring an Interior Designer for our La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Orem, UT. You will lead in-home consultations, translate client needs into striking design concepts, and support sales teams with design expertise.

The role offers base pay with uncapped commissions, ongoing training, and employee discounts. Strong design acumen and client-facing experience are essential. Weekly hours typically >40 with potential evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in sales or interior design with a residential emphasis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, computer-aided design programs, financial understanding, interpersonal communication, analytical abilities, goal orientation, team management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Promote the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design program to draft design solutions and personalized portfolios.
• Schedule and conduct in-home consultations to capture client needs and vision.
• Coach and train sales teams to improve design culture and knowledge.
• Translate client lifestyles and budgets into actionable design recommendations.
• Ensure execution of store operations and uphold brand standards.
