Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking an Interior Designer to lead the In-Home Design program, delivering personalized client solutions and elevating design standards. You will translate client needs into actionable concepts and conduct insightful in-home consultations to support sales teams with expert design guidance.

This role offers training pay, uncapped commissions, and a base-plus-commission earning structure, along with extensive benefits and career growth within a renowned furniture brand.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in design, home furnishings, or client-focused retail is a plus.
• Strong eye for color, texture, and layout and confident client-facing design guidance.

Responsibilities

• Promote the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design program and draft design solutions to meet client requirements.
• Schedule and conduct in-home consultations to understand clients’ needs and preferences.
• Partner with Store and Sales Managers to coach teams and improve design culture and product knowledge.
• Translate client lifestyle, taste, and budget into actionable design recommendations.
