Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Shiloh, IL is seeking an Interior Designer to join La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. You will translate client needs into design concepts, conduct in-home consultations, and fortify sales teams with design expertise.

Training pays $20 per hour for 2-6 weeks with no commission. After training, expected earnings range from $60,000 to $90,000+ including base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions. Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years in design or sales preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2-3 years in sales or interior design with a residential emphasis.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, CAD programs, financial understanding, strong interpersonal communication, analytical abilities, goal orientation, team management and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store and Sales Managers to coach and support sales teams in design culture and product knowledge.
• Collaborate to ensure execution of operational excellence.
• Create design concepts and digital presentations with finish selections and decor.
