Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking an Installer/Trainer in Harrisonburg, VA for a full-time role to install and train customers on CaptionCall phones in their homes. The position offers an on-site schedule with flexibility; ideal for those who enjoy independent work and helping people with hearing loss.

Responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting devices, training customers, generating referrals, attending events, maintaining records, and coordinating with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience.
• Experience in the hearing health field and with senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service.
• Create lead generation activities and generate referrals.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and other corporate events as assigned.
• Recruit and refer potential Installer/Trainer candidates to aid and support local installations and events.
• Complete service calls as assigned.
• Accurately maintain customer records.
• Complete required reports and submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
• Retrieve and clean phones of former customers.
• Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies in order to service customers.
• Adapt to new responsibilities as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
