Job summary

Amerita in Irving, TX is seeking a Home Infusion Registered Nurse to provide 1:1 patient care in home settings. You will assess, implement plans of care, and collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure safe, effective infusion therapies.

The role requires a valid RN license, CPR, and 100% travel to patient homes across the Irving–Dallas area. Flexible schedule with on-call coverage, and competitive benefits accompany full-time and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Willingness to travel 100% to patients' homes as required

Responsibilities

• Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care
• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion nursing and state laws
• Adheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines and ethics
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering provider and patient to monitor goals of therapies
• Completes patient care documentation in place of service including patient home or AIS
• Manages vascular access devices and draws labs via peripheral venipuncture
• Educates patients and caregivers
• Evaluates progress and makes recommendations to physicians
• Coordinates nursing care with home health and community agencies
• Participates in on-call rotation per branch protocol
• Completes expense reports and mileage tracking
• Completes annual competencies and mandatory training
• Supervisory Responsibility: No
