Job summary

Amerita, Inc is seeking a home infusion nurse to provide 1:1 care in patients' homes across the Texas area. The role includes assessing patients, implementing care plans, and coordinating with pharmacy, providers, and caregivers. You will work withinInfusion nursing standards and state regulations.

Flex schedule with evenings, weekends, and on-call, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, disability coverage, and employee discounts are offered for full-time and part-time employees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and establishes the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to infusion nursing and state regulations.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, providers and patients to monitor therapy.
• Completes patient care documentation in home or AIS.
• Manages vascular access devices and draws labs via peripheral venipuncture.
• Educates patients and caregivers; participates in on-call rotation.
