Job summary

Amerita, part of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Infusion Registered Nurse to care for patients in their homes across the Irving area and surrounding communities. The role focuses on IV therapies and comprehensive patient education.

The RN must hold a valid license, have at least 1 year of nursing experience, and be able to travel to patient homes with weekend/on-call coverage. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing infusion nursing services, pharmacy services and state laws.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering provider and patient on therapy goals.
• Completes patient care documentation in home or AIS.
• Manages vascular access devices and draws labs as needed.
• Educates patients and caregivers; evaluates progress and makes physician recommendations.
