Job summary

AmeriPharma in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with home infusion expertise to provide in-home therapy and patient education, including TPN, IVIG, and IV biologics.

The RN will conduct in-home visits, document care, educate patients, coordinate with pharmacy, and ensure adherence and safety. Per diem independent contractor role with flexible hours, requiring state RN license and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• RN state license required and nursing degree/diploma.
• 2+ years in home infusion; IVIG and IV biologics experience preferred.
• CRNI certification preferred; strong interpersonal and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion visits per plan of care.
• Document nursing notes and patient interventions.
• Coordinate with pharmacy departments for care.
• Monitor drug side effects and interactions.
• Educate patients on therapies, protocols, and adherence.
• Act as liaison among patient, family, and pharmacy.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and adjust care plans.
