Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with home infusion expertise to join our team. The role combines in-home infusion visits with patient education and coordination with pharmacy departments, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include conducting infusion visits, documenting care, counseling patients about therapy protocols, and ensuring adherence. Per diem, flexible hours; independent contractor status is offered.

Qualifications

• RN license from accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years of home infusion experience.
• 2+ years with IV immunoglobulins and IV biologics; CRNI certification preferred.
• CPR and BLS certification; valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer skills including word processing, internet, and email.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion visits according to plan of care.
• Prepare nursing notes and document patient interventions in clinical and non-clinical records.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams; advise on therapy protocols and drug interactions.
• Educate patients on therapy administration, side effects, and adherence importance.
• Assess patient needs and update care plans; communicate with patient families.
