Job summary

PHILLIS CONSTRUCTION CO. is seeking a driven Comfort Consultant to guide homeowners through HVAC choices, educate on options, and design custom comfort solutions. You’ll blend technical know-how with strong sales skills to close deals and build lasting relationships.

You’ll design systems, review plans, and manage client communication from proposal to project handoff, with a performance-driven mindset and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC system knowledge and installation experience.
• In-home or consultative sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to assess needs and design HVAC solutions.
• Educate on equipment options, indoor air quality, rebates, and financing.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and system designs; perform load calculations.
• Review blueprints and specifications; ensure accurate documentation.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and forecast 3–6 months ahead.
• Follow up on leads, proposals, and unsold opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations for smooth project execution and communication.
• Engage in networking and business development activities.
